In collaboration with IDB Invest and through its custody systems, DCV will enable the dematerialized registry of an electronic payment document issued under law 21472 of 2022 that established the Tariff Stabilization Mechanism.

Santiago, August 16, 2023. In the context of the Electricity Tariff Stabilization Fund created by Law 21472 of 2022, DCV will implement the registration of the issuance, custody, and settlement of "Payment Documents" in favor of power generating companies, thus providing the necessary technology infrastructure for this process.

In that respect, Rodrigo Roblero, General Manager of DCV, said that "The country needed an effective and innovative solution." Given this, and through our DCV Asesorías y Servicios subsidiary, we participated in the creation of this new instrument and the operational infrastructure to support it to respond to the needs of the market with a new ad-hoc service for the entities involved."

Mr. Roblero also highlighted how important it is for DCV to work on a "country project" by providing a digital solution to put it into practice through a safe and transparent system for all the parties involved.

Elizabeth Robberechts, Director of the Infrastructure and Energy Department of IDB Invest, stated that "we are committed to this solution, and the tool created by DCV allows us to respond rapidly and effectively to the needs of the power sector, especially for the companies that have joined the program."

Through this new technology infrastructure and after the bond's issuance resolution, DCV will create an "electronic bond" in favor of these companies to expedite the process for all the parties involved.
