Between October 27th and 28th, 31 representatives from 18 member organizations of ACSDA, gathered in Miami, Florida, for the 2016 edition of the ACSDA Workshop. For two days, representatives made presentations on the different subjects and took part in interesting discussions regarding two hotly debated topics within today’s Depository (CSD) Industry: BRP/DRP practices, and cyber security.
Senior year students of Commercial Engineering , in the context of their Global Capital Market course, hosted a lecture by the CEO, Fernando Yañez, of Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) within the framework of DCV Educa project.
The Operations Committee holds monthly meetings by conference call and once each year in person, an occasion to make an in-depth review of operational issues related to the MILA project.
In the context of its DCV Educa program, Depósito Central de Valores welcomed Law students who, as part of their course of Business Law, are interested in learning more about the financial market.
Depósito Central de Valores (DCV), together with its subsidiary DCV Registros, held the annual event for clients from depositors and issuing companies, titled “Cyber Security”, which addressed a most relevant topic: the risk of fraud in banking and financial institutions. Several members of the board of the DCV attended the event, such as its chairman, Sergio Baeza; as well as Jorge Claude and Arturo Concha.
