Depósito Central de Valores (DCV), together with its subsidiary DCV Registros, held the annual event for clients from depositors and issuing companies, titled “Cyber Security”, which addressed a most relevant topic: the risk of fraud in banking and financial institutions. Several members of the board of the DCV attended the event, such as its chairman, Sergio Baeza; as well as Jorge Claude and Arturo Concha. he conference, held at the Hyatt Hotel, included a lecture by Mexican expert Arturo Del Castillo, Associate Managing Director of Forensic Litigation Services at Kroll, with extensive international experience in forensic and financial investigations, as well as in compliance law and its implications. In the event, the speakers addressed several issues from their respective fields, such as financial institutions’ risks of fraud and their evolution, prevention and security systems, as well as other topics related to current regulation and Chile’s situation regarding the incidence of fraud around the world. This customary annual meeting with clients, hosted by the DCV, seeks to share experiences and visions about economic and financial issues, in order to make a contribution to the development of Chile’s Capital Market.
