After the joint work between Depósito Central de Valores and the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions for the use of the Electronic Pledge Registry (REP) Service announced by the entities last July (we attach a copy), pledge registry instructions have experienced significant growth in number, increasing nearly 40%.

An substantial number of Banks and their counterparties have decided to subscribe to the REP service and thus obtain significant savings in cost and time for the constitution of collateral over securities held in custody with DCV and subsequent electronic communication to DCV.

We invite you to be part of this significant step forward and evident sign of the modernization that DCV has promoted for the securities market.
