According to data from 2022, 87% of shareholders rate the service with a score of 6 and 7 out of 7. A score that, according to Juan Carlos Melys, Business Assistant Manager, is considered an "excellence score."

DCV Registros obtained a highly satisfactory score in service quality in 2022. This subsidiary of Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) administers the shareholders' register for corporations or the investors' register for investment funds.

The weighted average of the survey for the different shareholders' service channels was 87% satisfaction. "Getting a score above 80% is considered excellent in terms of market research and quality of service," says Juan Carlos Melys, Business Assistant Manager.

These results reflect the ongoing quest to improve our services. This data is very important for the company because the shareholders that use the services of DCV Registros are the clients of our clients and account for more than 284,000 people.

In 2022, 63,827 inquiries were processed through the different customer service channels: 4,425 clients made their inquiries in person, 32,738 over the phone, and 26,664 via email. It is also important to point out that 99% of shareholders rated the in-person customer service with scores between 6 and 7 out of 7.

"Undoubtedly, we have reached a maturity stage in our services. We feel proud of our ability to streamline our operations. With it, we can assist our clients in their inquiries and requirements for primary and related services such as sworn statements and tax certificates," claims Mr. Melys.

DCV Registros is still considered a high-standard company. "The company is looking into the future, adapting rapidly to the fast pace of the market. We are open to transformation, always promising to administer securities with the highest safety standards. Because digitization will always go together with regulations," he adds.

2023 Challenges

In 2023, DCV Registros expects to keep its high-quality service standards in managing risks and costs and adapt to its clients' possible requirements in modernization, especially in shareholders' meetings services.

In addition, the company intends to attract new clients and keep its current ones. "70% of IPSA companies use our shareholders' and investors' register; however, it is always good to attract those that have not experienced our service's advantages," he concludes.
