Communication and closeness with clients, key factors for DCV

The commercial work in the first quarter of 2021 of the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) had a key element: communication and direct contact with clients of each service

 

Faced with a new year with a pandemic, mobility restrictions and remote work, the way in which DCV wants to connect with its audience has been redefined. This not only implies doing more communication, but also choosing the channels correctly. Content through online talks and customer segmentation were the pillars to start this 2021”, explained Juan Carlos Melys, DCV’s Commercial Deputy Manager.

“This beginning of the year has been intense and with several work fronts, which has challenged us but also leaves us happy (as a work area). However, we have an important goal for the coming months. Thru January, February, and March, 13 new clients have been incorporated, where increases have been seen in the Click & Vote service (developed in partnership with the Santiago Stock Exchange), electronic voting for shareholders and contributors meetings, where we have held 6 meetings so far this year. In this regard, we have the entire period of greatest activity during the month of April”, adds Melys.

The new business projects also set the tone for what the beginning of the year represented. We highlight the strong work that was developed for the launch of the first service of the affiliate DCV Asesorías y Servicios S.A., which will be released to the market in the coming days.

We want to continue conducting online talks during the coming months, and we have a strong commitment to deliver excellent services and successfully carry out the largest transformation project that DCV has ever carried out: the DCV Evolution project (DCVe) in alliance with Nasdaq and that will go on the market next November”, says Melys.

Regarding this last project, between April, May, and June the focus will be on implementing the training plan that it considers: theoretical training, practical workshops, learning and market tests, which will be repeated during July, August, and September.

Thanks to the early training process and market tests carried out in October last year, the DCV Evolution team was able to incorporate important learnings that will be considered in the training stage for the entire market.
