Javier Jara Traub, Commercial and New Businesses Manager of the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV), was re-elected as Vice-president of ACSDA, Americas’ Central Securities Depositories Association. This is his second term in as the association’s Vice-president. The nomination took place at the XXI ACSDA General Assembly, which was held in Lima, Peru, last week.

“As DCV we have participated since ACSDA’s beginning, always trying to promote and strengthen the union between the distinct depositories. To assume the Vice-presidency for the second time is a very interesting challenge, especially in a context where issues such as innovation in financial markets, cybersecurity and the FinTech world make it more challenging when facing our businesses”, said Jara.
