WITH THE TRADITIONAL ANNIVERSARY PARTY, DCV CELEBRATED WITH ITS EMPLOYEES ITS 26 YEARS OF HISTORY AND SHARED THE TRANSFORMATION CHALLENGES THAT IT FACES AS A COMPANY.

On March 15th, Espacio Riesco received all the employees of DCV and DCV Registros, who passed over an imposing blue carpet towards the Company’s 26-year celebration. The central theme for this year was transformation, which was symbolized by water (for its ability to adapt to the environment and its fluidity). The element was present at every moment, making a symbolic reference to the moment that the Company is living.

In times of change, the role of innovation is key, and for DCV it is defined as “what is perceived as new and better by our employees and clients, and whose objective is create value in order to generate new businesses”. This road started in 2017 with the DCV Evolution project and for 2019 and 2020 the Company faces important challenges.

By now a tradition, DCV’s 26-year celebration also served as a space to recognize employees with 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of experience in the Company, where their contribution and commitment with the institution was recognized.

“We have begun to transit to the second quarter of a century, which could be the first year of a decisive era for our company.” That is how the welcome speech was opened by Fernando Yáñez, DCV’s General Manager.

With emotive and inspiring words, Yáñez reviewed the Company’s early years and how the learnings, resilience and perseverance that have led DCV to success will serve as inspiration to carry forward the transformation process.

But why transform when success and stability have been achieved? Yáñez assures that “the same recipe is not a guarantee for success”, and invited employees to work in a collaborative and integrated manner for pursuing the Company’s purpose. “I invite you to think differently and join this challenge,” he concluded. In changing times, a company manages to be sustainable and innovative when it is capable of transforming itself, and there is no transformation without the people who make up the company.

“Si sólo somos capaces de ver el presente, nos encegueceremos y no lograremos detectar las amenazas y tampoco las oportunidades. Nos quedaremos en una situación cómoda que nos mantendrá estáticos mientras el mercado y el mundo entero evoluciona”. Fernando Yáñez. Gerente General del DCV.
