Dear Participants
We inform you that as of today, Monday December 21, 2015, Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) is releasing enhancements to the Certificate of Position, some of which will facilitate the pledge constitution process on securities in custody and their electronic notification to DCV.
Among the enhancements are:
New security character field:
A new column has been included which contains information about the character of the securities that are certificates, indicating whether these are registered or bearer.
Text Adequacy:
- Account Type: detail of the type of account where the securities are deposited, indicating whether it is a proprietary, third party pooled or individual account.

- Custodian Identification: name and taxpayer ID of the custodian for individual third-party accounts.

Verification Period
The term of validity for the verification of the electronic document in DCV’s web site has been extended from 3 to 5 years since issue date.
