NOTICE OF RIGHT TO PURCHASE BUPA CHILE S.A. SHARES
We hereby inform you that as of this date the firm Grupo Bupa Sanitas Chile Uno SpA (“GBS Chile”), controller of the Company Bupa Chile S.A., has notified that after meeting the related legal requirements, it has decided to exercise the right to purchase set forth in Article 71 bis of the Law 18046 in the terms established thereunder, which 15 days subsequent to the communication, that is, February 26, 2016 and without the parties being required to sign any transfer whatsoever, the issuing Company, Bupa Chile S.A., shall register in the name of “GBS Chile” all the shares of its remaining shareholders that had been acquired subsequent to March 23, 2011, leaving the product of the sale available to the latter in the same way as foreseen for the distribution of dividends. Accordingly, we request Participants holding shares issued by BUPA CHILE S.A. (bupacl) on deposit to proceed to withdraw those securities at the earliest convenience.
