Thanks to the joint efforts of the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) and the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions (ABIF) towards the use of the Electronic Pledge Registry (REP), introduced in July of this year by both institutions (attached is a copy), the registration of Electronic Pledge instructions has shown a significant increase, reaching record levels and a 35% growth.
Central Securities Depository (DCV) welcomes 16 new customers have joined their services in the months of July August.
More than a hundred people have taken part in the four training sessions through the webinar tool, and in light of its success, the Central Securities Deposit (DCV for its acronym in Spanish) warmly welcomes all to a new session, in which we will address the operation of the “Electronic Registry of Pledges on Foreign Securities”, recently opened by the DCV. In this training, we will review the service, its main features and benefits of working with it.
