Deposito Central de Valores (DCV) is pleased to announce the successful response that the recent release of its Mining Securities Custody service had from the market.

According to Law No. 20.551, enacted in 2011, mining companies, as surety before the Chilean Government of the full and timely compliance with the closure of mining sites and facilities, must grant bank guarantees so as to ensure the performance of their obligations. This service allows mining companies to have physical custody of the instruments created by this bill, being DCV’s responsibility to issue the custody certificates required by the Sernageomin.
