In this context, the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) decided to strongly commit to the innovation culture within the company, with the objective of exploring new lines of businesses based in its current strategic capabilities.
Opportunities in the financial system appear (and disappear) in seconds. It is very important, particularly in the legal field, to take advantage of such opportunities, especially when they go in a direction in accordance with the innovation times demanded by the markets in general.
nIn 2018, the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) celebrates 25 years of history in the Chilean capital market as the only entity responsible for safeguarding the instruments that are traded in the local market. In addition, it is in charge of registering transfer operations of instruments carried out in stock exchanges and in the over-the-counter market.
In a ceremony held at TVN’s premises, Mujeres Empresarias and Revista Capital recognized Katharina Jenny Arroyo, Health and Safety Corporate Manager of Antofagasta Minerals, as the 2018 Female Executive of the Year, an award that recognizes women who hold high executive positions and who stand out for their impact, development, innovation and vision of the future.
In its 25 years of history, this project is one of DCV’s most important initiatives. Consequently, to begin transforming the Company’s “core” platform, called “DCV Evolution”, a meeting was held with representatives of various participant institutions, who were able to learn on the developments that these changes will bring about. This initiative will be carried out in collaboration with Nasdaq.
