AUNA is the first consortium in Latin America to promote an ecosystem for companies to create their own blockchain networks and solutions based on this technology.
AUNA Blockchain is an initiative that started with a collaboration between Depósito Central de Valores (DCV), Santiago Stock Exchange - Nuam, and GTD Chile. Since its creation in 2019, it has positioned itself as a benchmark in the use of blockchain technology for the development of corporate solutions, standing out for its focus on security, traceability, and scalability.
"This arises from a collaboration where these three firms decide to explore new technological possibilities to operate as an ecosystem that facilitates the creation and adoption of blockchain-based solutions aimed at both startups and large corporations," says Javier Jara, DCV's Legal and Corporate Affairs Manager.
One of the key aspects of AUNA is its ability to provide an institutional network that guarantees the transparent and secure handling of information, unlike public blockchain networks, where operations are more decentralized. What "sets AUNA apart is that all our solutions ensure clear information management, transparent and personalized costs," says Jaime Pradenas, AUNA's leader.
This ecosystem started with the creation of a development platform and a sandbox, allowing companies to build and deploy blockchain solutions efficiently and autonomously. However, the initiative did not stop there. It has evolved over the years to offer customized consulting and development services, adapting to the specific needs of its clients.
In 2023, AUNA took a step forward by launching AUNA Mainnet, a platform business model that seeks to connect institutional companies with technology startups. This marketplace facilitates collaboration between corporations and emerging companies so that the solutions developed by the startups can be implemented and adapted in corporate environments.
In the upcoming years, AUNA is expected to continue expanding, attracting more startups and corporations to its ecosystem and reaffirming its commitment to the creation of technology solutions that respond to the needs of the current market.
