The successful re-certification process included the certificate's renewal for an additional three years.

To obtain the ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 certifications,  Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) chose British Standards Institution (BSI), as its partner, because it is one of the best in the market for these certifications, and to go through the audit and review process based on international standards.

The certification and re-certification process consisted of a three-year auditing cycle, where year zero corresponds to the initial certification, years one and two to follow-up audits, and year three to the certificate renewal or re-certification audit.

During the week of August 8 to 12 2022, the BSI conducted the re-certification audit (year three) with a positive outcome, which implied the certification's renewal for three more years.

ISO 22301 is a standard that focuses on Business Continuity Management and that guarantees that the company will be able to continue providing its services without any inconveniences given any unexpected technical or operational events. Similarly, ISO 27001 specifies the requirements to establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve an information security management system.

Obtaining these two ISO certifications are part of the excellence and security policy that DCV applies to the services provided to its clients.
