THE PROGRAM SEEKS TO SUPPORT COMPANIES SO THAT THEY CAN FACE AND ADOPT DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES THROUGH TECHNOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITY DEVELOPMENT AND COLLABORATIVE NETWORKS

In order to link with the corporate innovation environment, new trends and to better understand the Fintech world ecosystem, the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) turned to looking for hub options where these purposes were fulfilled.

In this regard, Klaus Hochstetter, New Businesses Deputy Manager, together with Sandra Valenzuela, Human Resources Manager, visited the Innovation Circle of the incubato Imagine Lab, a consulting firm that works in partnership with the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Microsoft.

This program seeks to support companies in various industries so that they can face and adopt the digital transformation processes through technological knowledge, capability building and collaborative networks between companies and with startups. The initiative looks to generate collaborative approaches and permeate within the organizations the key concepts, distinctions, tools and methodologies in order to face the new times and challenges that digital transformation brings.

Six months have already passed since DCV has been part of this program, which offers various monthly activities such as talks and workshops; the evaluation has been positive.

In addition to dealing with very interesting topics and with very good quality exhibitors during the talks, the relationships made with other people from other companies serves to exchange ideas and create networks,” explains Klaus Hochstetter. “In a world in constant change, it is a very high risk you must look at just what happens in your company,” he added.

The Innovation Circle is a program that is open to all workers of DCV. In this way, the Human Management area has played a key role in strengthening and promoting training instances where different people in the company can interact and get to know each other better. “We have had great interest from people from different areas within the company. Immediately, people realize that attending these seminars or workshops is a benefit; they help us open up to other topics”, said Hochstetter.

The program had a closing event of the year last December 10th at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where DCV together with other companies that participated in the Innovation Circle were invited to a networking session to share practices and learnings. During the ceremony, Eduardo Tastets, Director of Latam Ventures Club, also Director of Redd and Director of Imagine Lab, thanked the participation and highlighted the growth that the program has had despite its short life, which undoubtedly shows the value that it brings to companys’ instances for sharing and expanding knowledge. Subsequently, Pablo Pastene, Executive Director of CIET of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology) reaffirmed the university’s commitment to the program and with the growth of innovation. The networking afternoon ended with the presentation by Danica Music, Deputy Manager of Innovation at Sodimac, who showed her experience in corporate innovation.
