WHEN THERE IS A HIGH LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT, EMPLOYEES FEEL PROUD AND ARE COMMITTED WITH THE ORGANIZATION. THEY SEE THE COMPANY AS A GOOD EMPLOYMENT OPTION AND ARE WILLING TO RECOMMEND IT AND DEFEND IT IF NECESSARY.

In DCV we have integrated as part of our culture diverse types of tools aimed at gathering relevant information from our employees, which allows us to design and implement action plans consistent with the business challenges.

In this sense, Employee Engagement is essential because it provides an indicator that goes beyond work satisfaction and motivation assessments, linked to climate. This measurement allows us to know in detail the commitment level that employees feel towards contributing to the organization’s success and their willingness to carry out efforts aimed at achieving the company’s objectives.

Through Employee Engagement we can observe the emotional bond of our employees with the company and its objectives. We can evaluate their enthusiasm for the work, the pride of belonging, how they are in line with corporate goals; their willingness to actively participate in order to achieve results and their willingness aimed at recommending the company. Employee Engagement has to do with an emotional involvement focused on adding value to the organization.

Since 2008, DCV measures through the engagement survey, commitment actions, the dimensions that drive them and priorities. In October of this year we carried out the most recent measurement, where we obtained a record participation of 94% regarding the answers given; and an 80% regarding the commitment level, which is four percent higher than last year, and 12 percent above the Chilean standard.

THIS YEAR WE HAD A RECORD PARTICIPATION OF 94% AND AN 80% COMMITMENT LEVEL.

Beyond the result, it is worth mentioning that this measurement also gives us strategic information regarding opportunities to improve, which we will look forward to for addressing business challenges in a harmonious way in line with the concerns of our employees.
