The DCV as a social ambassador, Corporate Volunteering, a step forward

In DCV we have assumed a commitment with society, not only through the services that we provide that relate to our own business, but also through actions of solidarity aimed at the community. In order to carry out this deed, we have developed a program focused on social responsibility, which includes corporate volunteering as an involvement and free participation instance for our employees.

An initiative that we highlight in this regard is having launched the DCV Social Ambassador contest, which was held last June, through which our employees had the opportunity to propose and nominate social institutions or projects, so they could receive our donations. The nominations were approved by the Donations Committee, through which the nominated foundations were chosen for DCV’s 2018 donation.

This process led to delivering an economic donation aimed at supporting the immediate needs of the Hogar Esperanza and Santa Clara foundations. Furthermore, the involvement of the Corporate Volunteering was added, which worked in repairing and reconditioning facilities, collecting gifts and food, as well as organizing Christmas activities. Therefore, carrying out actions that go beyond an economic contribution.

At DCV, we are proud of the support given by both our employees and the group of volunteers. We hope to continue undertaking social actions that generate effective and sustainable support to our community.
