DCV is Committed to Financial Education by Promoting the Inclusion and Financial Education Discussion Board

This Discussion Board is an opportunity for private-sector financial
institutions to get together and work in a collaborative way.

 

After a year of work and with the purpose of documenting all the activities carried out by the Inclusion and Financial Education Discussion Board, of which Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) is a founding member and promoter, its first Report was recently published.

This Discussion Board is an opportunity for private-sector financial institutions to get together and work in a collaborative way. The following are the members of this discussion board: Banks and Financial Institutions Association (ABIF), Association of AFPs (AAFP), Mutual Funds Association, Investment Funds Association, Association of Insurance Companies, Association of Fintech Companies of Chile, Santiago Stock Exchange, Electronic Stock Exchange of Chile, Cajas de Chile, Centro de Estudios Financieros of ESE Business School, and DCV.

Its purpose and objectives were defined during its first year of operation. During this time, and mainly in 2021, several joint initiatives and activities took place and monthly meetings to talk about and plan the work. An example of this is a course for journalists and, another one for students of a technical vocational college, a seminar together with ICARE, among other initiatives.

Opening the doors for knowledge and explaining basic economic and financial concepts are part of the contribution we must make to our community to strengthen financial education in our country.
