On the other hand, such situations in Chile as labor reform, which is being discussed in Congress added to the public and social unrest for greater demands influence over the fact that Human Capital acquires special relevance. Thus, maintaining the status quo in people management is not an option. If we want to achieve growth and competitive advantage, we need to have the necessary confidence and vision to reinvent and invigorate people management, connecting ourselves with their real needs and current expectations.

One of the challenges we face today is finding the proper work-life balance. It is important for the welfare of all members of the organization to combine work success with family engagements and personal life. The Human Resource areas can help solve this issue by promoting flexible and joint working practices that facilitate work and personal life.

During 2015, at DCV we worked our organizational culture towards well-being and mental health. This is why we introduced a Health Care Program intended to strengthen commitment and a sense of belonging among our work practices. It was done through strategic management that improves the quality of life, well-being and mental health of all collaborators, hoping to have been a contribution to the fulfillment of objectives set by the organization.

Having this in mind, we added to the list of benefits a license to accompany a hospitalized off-spring, which adds to the already existing ones: holidays in low season (additional days to the legal ones), reduced hours on Fridays and flextime, which have contributed to the work-life balance of the company members.

The challenge for 2016 is to keep working to have happy and committed collaborators, attract and hold talent, strengthen our corporate culture and contribute to the fulfillment of the business strategy as key points in our business.
