In relation to the results obtained, the Operations and Services Manager, Claudio Garín, stated that these figures reflect the consolidation of a human resources training program developed in 2012 and 2013. ‘Moreover, DCV Registros is an organization oriented to clients’ needs and which is provided with continuous monitoring through traditional as well as other technological tools’ intended to protect the quality of its processes and handling of requirements.

In 2013 this subsidiary of Depósito Central de Valores reached historic levels of 259 clients at year-end, which represents a 5.71% increase in relation to 2012 and a total of 22 new clients.  Concerning the service provided to shareholders, through its three customer service channels it received 17,448 clients in person (a 6.26% increase in relation to 2012); 49,713 through the call center (10.7% in relation to 2012) and 18,144 inquiries by electronic mail (a 22.77% increase in relation to 2012).

Garín added that DCV Registros has reached a level of maturity in relation to its services. ‘This is why we feel honored by the relationship with our clients and our ability to advise them with respect to inquiries and requirements in the primary and related complementary services like sworn statements services and tax certificates that require a high capability to react in the face of the regulatory changes the system presents’.

In 2013, DCV Registros performed and coordinated more than 700 corporate events, which represented a 31.65% increase in relation to 2012.

Project 2014

The Operations and Services Manager stated that ‘the project for 2014 is to enhance the development of technological infrastructure and innovate with automation of processes, migrating from manual to automatic mechanisms that allow achievement of more efficiency and security.  This includes the technological renovation of our registry administration system, ARA – to organize larger and more complex corporate events, which arose as a needed product of the growth experienced the previous year, incorporating new functions and mechanisms that ensure control and efficiency. 

As a commitment by DCV Registros, Garín added that ‘like the previous year, we will continue to focus on operational continuity, efficiency and providing a service of excellence to our clients, shareholders and contributors from the respective administrated companies’, he concluded.
