Please be advised that as of this current month, the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) will be the custodian of the guarantees that the stockbrokers of Bolsa de Comercio de Santiago (BCS) agree on performing with foreign instruments defined by the Bolsa, such as collateral for term transactions, short sales and shares lending, among other transactions.
The instruments granted in guarantee will be held by DCV in its accounts in The Depository Trust Company (DTC – United States) and, eventually with other custodians or depositories with which it has agreements.
In order to make your transaction easier and considering that this service is framed in the context of the International Custody service that DCV currently offers its depositors, the necessary adjustments have been made to the International Custody Operations Guide.
