Nelson Fernández: Industrial Civil Engineer of Universidad de la Frontera joined Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) in 1993 as a Programmer Analyst and then became Technology and Cybersecurity Manager, the position he held until the end of May.
Today, after 30 years, he says goodbye to the company and feels very proud of his career. Without a doubt, his career is a testimony to his hard work and commitment to the company and its teams.
Regarding the future of capital markets, Nelson expresses his optimism and trust in the company's ability to face challenges. "There are, and there always will be, many challenges and difficulties to overcome; DCV is a strong and mature company that will find the way to adapt and offer good infrastructure solutions to the ever-changing and divergent capital market," he said.
On the other hand, the former Technology and Cybersecurity Manager highlighted the transformation led by the company through the DCV Evolution project, emphasizing the strengthening of human capital and innovation. "The project refounds several aspects of the company; however, the main legacy that is left is the ability of the company to address significant changes such as this one. Teamwork and opening up to new ideas for improvement are possible thanks to the people that are currently part of DCV."
Throughout his career, Nelson demonstrated exemplary leadership and a strategic view that significantly contributed to the growth and consolidation of DCV. His strong commitment and his focus on excellence have left an indelible mark on all of those who worked with him. His legacy in DCV will last and continue inspiring new generations.
