Internal motivation and commitment, added to constant communication with the market, has marked
the steps during this time.

1. How has COVID-19 affected DCV, both externally and internally?

As DCV, the most important thing is taking care of our own staff and providing continuity to the proper functioning of the Chilean financial market. We are a key part of the system's gear, so our function is critical. From there we look and approach the various challenges that we have had throughout our almost 30 years. Regarding this pandemic, before the authorities decreed certain restrictions, we imposed some protocols on ourselves, for example, people who traveled during the summer had to quarantine, even before it was an obligation.

2. How has communication been carried out during this time?

Internally, we have reinforced internal communication channels and have tried to reach our own staff with different content, which has allowed us to continue working with the same motivation and commitment as always. Externally, we have regular meetings with regulators and frequent communications with our clients through mail, the call center, and the website. Similarly, we have taken care to constantly inform our clients, and the rest of the market, on changes in procedures that require physical presence and other protocols.

3. What is it like to lead a team in a challenging situation like this?

At DCV we always talk about DCV's Culture and this is more evident than ever in extreme situations. I am proud to lead an organization whose team is very committed to the quality of what we do. Part of this culture has been formed by our strict certifications that have allowed us to continue providing continuity to the business even in these circumstances. We have worked for more than 10 years on crisis management plans. We are certified in the ISO 23301 standard regarding business continuity management, which identifies the foundations and establishes the processes, principles, and terminology of business continuity management. We are also certified in the ISO 27001 standard related to information security management. Both ensure that the Company's plans include a trained team and the policies and procedures necessary to operate under crisis. These measures have allowed us to react quickly to the impact of this pandemic.

4. What stands out the most in these three months?

I highlight the commitment and responsibility of the team of staff and the quality with which we have done our job. We are very proud of DCV's capacity and technical operations, which allow us to continue operating at our traditional levels of quality.
