DCV receives ANNA’s board of directors in its annual meeting

On January 21st and 22nd of 2020 at DCV´s offices, the first meeting of the year was carried out with the directors of ANNA

The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) brings together more than 92 members of the most important entities that operate as numbering agencies in the securities markets of different countries. Its principal function is to assign unique identification codes to the securities of the financial market in more than 120 countries. The Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) has been a member of ANNA since 2001 and also is the official numbering agency for the national securities market. In 2019, Claudio Garín, DCV's Service Manager, was appointed as a member of the entity's Board of Directors for a term of 3 years.

As part of ANNA's regular activities, its directors review regional realities and challenges to integrate the guidelines that Europe usually has.

ANNA's Board of Directors holds four annual meetings, during this first meeting in Santiago, topics related to the association were discussed, such as the analysis of the issues raised by members around the world, the results of the last General Assembly and the next challenges related to new codifications of financial instruments, technological and regulatory issues, among others.

In this meeting, which was hosted by DCV (being the second one held in Chile), the following directors of ANNA attended: Dan Kuhnel (Chairman), Torsten Ulrich (Vice-chairman), Emma Kalliomaki (General Director), Kristina Sutton (Marketing Director), Laura Stanley, Uwe Meyer (Executive Director and Secretary) and Claudio Garín (ANNA's Treasurer and DCV's Operations and Service Manager).
