THE FIRST MEETING OF 2019 OF THE DIRECTORS OF HE ASSOCIATION OF NATIONAL NUMBERING AGENCIES (ANNA) WAS HELD AT DCV’S offices on january 24th and 25th

The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) brings together more than 91 members of the most important entities that operate as numbering agencies in the securities markets of countries from around the world.

The Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) since 2001 has been part of this association, but recently, in 2018, was elected by the members to be part of the board, appointing as director, Claudio Garín, DCV’s Operations and Services Manager.

ANNA’s board holdst four annual meetings in order to discuss the results of previous meetings and to analyze the industry’s different aspects. The first board meeting of 2019, in which DCV participates for the first time as host, was held on January 24th and 25th in Santiago.

In the first meeting of the year, the results of ANNA’s last Meeting, which was held last December in Mumbai and the comments of the members regarding their interests, challenges and concerns were reviewed. The industry’s different aspects were reviewed in terms of international standards’ visibility (ISIN-CFI-FISN and LEI), new regulatory requirements that may be required by regulators and general guidelines of the strategic planning of the association regarding financial issues, positioning and marketing challenges, and the regular aspects of ANNA’s administration.
