Monica Singer – Strate South Africa

Strate recently announced that Monica will be leaving Strate at the end of August 2017 to fulfil her dream of living in Cape Town and to pursue new opportunities. Monica intends to continue to research to stay ahead of developments in disruptive technologies which may lead to her doing consulting in this area. Monica has been an active contributor to ACSDA over the years, and in the past, was a member of the ACSDA Executive Committee. Dr. Maria Vermaas has been appointed as Strate’s Interim CEO.

Robin Levy – JCSD Jamaica

The Jamaica Stock Exchange recently announced that Robin resigned his post as general manager of the Jamaica Central Securities Depository Limited (JCSD) as well as JCSD Trustee Services Limited, and as Deputy General Manager of the Jamaica Stock Exchange. Robin has been the JCSD representative to ACSDA since joining the Association more than 10 years ago.

Bank of Jamaica (BoJ)

Daphne Burton has retired from her position as the Director, Electronic Securities Depository Department, Bank of Jamaica, where she also served as the BoJ representative to ACSDA. She has been replaced by Maurice Fearon who holds the position of Acting Director of the Department.

B³ – Brazil

B3 was established in March of this year when the activities of BM&FBOVESPA were combined with the activities of Cetip, who were both members of ACSDA. This new organization remains as a member of ACSDA and is represented by Marcelo Wilk, who had been the representative of BM&FBOVESPA for a number of years.

CSD – Canada

We were recently advised that Glenn Goucher, President of CDS will be replaced by Brian Gelfand the Chief Commercial Officer for CDS as their official representative. CDS was one of the founding members of ACSDA back in 1999.

Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos S.A. (BYMA) – Argentina

MYMA replaced Merval earlier this year as a member of ACSDA following a restructuring of the Stock Exchanged in Argentina. Jorge De Carli, General Manager remains as their official representative to ACSDA.
