More than 100 representatives of DCV Registros clients participated in an interesting meeting, where Felipe Morandé, economist and former Minister of Transportation of Piñera’s Administration made a thorough analysis of the tax reform project that the Government is debating in Congress and the effects for the business environment.

The presentation called “Showers of Reforms (including the tax reform)” allowed attendees to learn about the legal modifications in the educational, social security, labor, health and constitutional areas that Michelle Bachelet’s Administration intends to make within the framework of her Government Program for the next four years.

The initiative, organized by DCV Registros at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, gathered clients from various companies who were attentive to the changes proposed in Congress in order to have more clarity on the particular effects that the reforms will have in each sector of the national economy.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of Universidad Mayor stated that today there is a crisis of trust on the part of businessmen, so it is essential to inject trust to both investors and the private sector in general.

Fernando Yáñez, DCV General Manager, valued the opportunity to update and share knowledge related to national issues.

“This meeting has provided a relevant opportunity so that companies who are clients of DCV Registros learn more about the issues being discussed in the country and that will have direct impact in their business areas, whether with tributary, labor or social security modifications. We are satisfied because we seek to be a contribution for our clients”, he stated.

The attendees agreed that the presentation was clear and explanatory to have a more detailed understanding of the issues under analysis in terms of the economy, and that it let them clarify doubts with regard to the progress status in the handling of the reforms.
