Depósito Central de Valores S.A (DCV) advises that due to the implementation of the new technological platform of Banco Central de Chile (BCCH), the SOMA system, the set up of which will be reported in due course by that entity, DVC has adapted the Purchase/Sale Pact Service in relation to the operations between Banco Central de Chile and the Participants, operations that are governed by the provisions contained in the first part of Chapter 2.1 of the Compendium of Monetary and Financial Standards of BCCH, recently amended under agreement 1929-02-150917, published in the Official Gazette on September 24, and in a supplementary manner by the provisions of Chapter 10.4 of the DCV’s Internal Regulations.

Therefore, DVC together with the BCCH will begin a trial period for the aforementioned service, beginning next October 2, which main change is the migration to the use of ISO15022 messaging via Swift and the immediate settlement process without retention of securities, being the participants also able to check the operations in our Custody Operations Web Site.
