Depósito Central de Valores advises its participants that on February 20, 2012, the company adhered to the established procedure by Banco Central de Chile through Agreement 1656.

The aforementioned agreement applies to the opening and maintenance of book entries in bond accounts of the Tesorería General de la República, issued without physical issuance of certificates, as well as the collection and payment thereof, to be placed by Banco Central de Chile in its capacity as Fiscal Agent, according to DS N? 1839 of the Treasury Department, dated December 28, 2011, and published in the Official Gazette January 27, 2012.

According to the conditions set by Banco Central de Chile, Depositors who are interested in acquiring the aforementioned bonds, should execute and submit to Banco Central (Central Bank) the mandate contained in annex N° 3 of the agreement, which is attached to this circular.
