Dear Depositors,
Depósito Central de Valores informs its participants that starting next July 25th, it will incorporate a new control to validate the taxpayer ID numbers of sellers in the payment instructions registered directly in the buyer's bank website or that are sent to them through the option that DCV has made available for this purpose.
According to the above, in the payment instructions associated with the transactions settled through DVP, DCV will validate that the taxpayer ID numbers of the sellers match those registered in the DCV Evolution Platform (DCVe) as depositors. If the validation is unsuccessful, DCV will reject the corresponding DVP transactions.
Therefore, when seller participants provide buyer participants with the information associated with the payment of their transactions, they must always provide the seller participant's taxpayer ID number and never the taxpayer ID number of one of its investors, and provide the current account of the seller participant properly registered in DCV for DVP credits.
This new validation will ensure no inconveniences for the banks selected by the sellers to identify them and deposit the funds associated with sales in their corresponding current accounts.
