Information on the Division of CGE - CGET

Dear Shareholders and Depositors,

As it was informed to the shareholders of COMPAÑÍA GENERAL DE ELECTRICIDAD S.A., through an essential fact, CGE TRANSMISIÓN S.A ("CGET") was established through the division of CGE agreed in its Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting on September 24, 2021; and that according to the agreements reached on that meeting, its shares were transferred, due to the division, directly to the shareholders of COMPAÑÍA GENERAL DE ELECTRICIDAD S.A, free of charge and free from any payments, in the ratio of a share of CGET for each share of CGE S.A. registered in the Corporation's Shareholders' Register by midnight of Thursday, September 8, 2022. The above was informed to the shareholders of CGE TRANSMISION S.A. through a publication in the newspaper "El Mercurio" in Santiago on August 31, 2022.

Considering the above, Compañía General de Electricidad S.A agreed that based on the consolidated financial statements of June 30, 2021, whose equity of M$1,851,951,094 to distribute in Compañía General de Electricidad S.A. ("CGE") for M$ 1,445,761,917 with a 78.07% share and CGE TRANSMISION S.A. ("CGET") M$ 406,189,177 with a 21.93% share.
