Error in the Instructions to Open Your Investor Financial Statement

Dear Sir/Madam,

Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) wishes to inform you about an error in the instructions for the opening password of your investor financial statement.

In the last quarterly financial statement sent on July 2, 2021, it was incorrectly informed that the password to open the file had to follow the “Taxpayer ID number without periods, without a dash, and without a check digit” format. However, for some reason that is under investigation, that rule did not work. Therefore, the “taxpayer ID number with a check digit and four zeros to the left until completing 10 characters” was still being used to open statements.

This situation has already been corrected, and the statements were resent, indicating the correct format for the password as follows: “Taxpayer ID number without periods, without a dash, and without a check digit.”
