Letter from Fernando Yáñez General Manager of DCV

Dear depositors,

This is the last communication I will make to you as General Manager of the Depósito Central de Valores (DCV), a responsibility that I assumed in 1993 and that, as of March 31st, I will leave to focus on new challenges. I leave with the satisfaction and pride of having led a company that has been key in the development of the capital market and, therefore, of Chile; and with the peace of mind that the DCV team and its new General Manager, Rodrigo Roblero, are prepared for the future challenges.

Since our creation, we have been strongly committed to building an infrastructure for the financial market that provides open access to all its participants, while contributing to making it more secure, efficient and robust.

During these 28 years, while fulfilling a critical role, we have focused our work on improving the quality and security of the services we provide. Additionally, we have implemented important transformation processes, which have implied allocating greater resources to strengthening and renovating the technological and cybersecurity infrastructure. This has also implied the development of projects that guarantee the fulfillment of our commitments with the market, in line with new trends and risks that arise

I can only thank each of you for the trust you have placed in us during this period and invite you to continue working together with DCV towards a more developed capital market that serves as a regional benchmark.

Sincerely,
Fernando Yáñez
General Manager of DCV

Without further ado, sincerely,
