DCVe to day N°1, do not forget these changes in DCVe

Dear Depositors,

Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) would like to let you know that in the "DCVe Today" Newsletter, we will be informing about the changes, benefits, recommendations, and any relevant topics related to the operation of the new DCVe Platform with which we have already become familiar in the 2021 General Training Plan.

The first topic to inform has to do with the following:

  • Reports and Certificates (part 1 of 3) addressing only those that have been subject to changes in the DCVe Platform, as follows:

1 Holdings Report (L002)
Generated through the DCV web application as requested by depositors. Contains detailed information on the holdings registered in the accounts kept at DCV, managed by depositors when the report is generated.
  • Its on-demand generation is no longer available. However, the most important elements of its content can be obtained through a customized query on the DCVe Platform that each user must set up.
  • It will be available as "R053 Holdings Report," automatically and with the current format, only after the close of business, from 10:30 p.m.
Annex 1
Holdings Report
Provides information on how to obtain it through the customized query.
2 Transactions Report (L053)
Generated by depositors through the DCV web application. Contains detailed information on the registered transactions in any status, at the request's time and date.
  • However, and at all times, the most important elements of its content can be obtained through a customized query on the DCVe Platform that each user must set up.
  • It will no longer be available on the DCVe Platform.

Provides information on how to obtain it through the customized query.
3 Collection Distribution Report (L221)
Generated for depositors at the payment date of a Corporate Action. Contains information on the charges to be made by the depositors in the different payment banks.
It is currently generated in two formats, ".dat" and ".lst."
  • It will only be generated with the ".dat" extension in the DCVe Platform. The ".lst" extension is no longer available.
  • It will be available as "R085 Collection Distribution", after the close of business, from 1:00 a.m.

Holdings Certificates (L026)
Generated by depositors through the DCV web application for a date before the current date. Contains detailed information on the holdings registered in the accounts kept at DCV and managed by depositors.
There are 3 types of holdings certificates, as per the following categories:

  1. Regulated Certificates / Reports:
    • Total holdings certificate, in .pdf format.
    • Total holdings report, in plain text format.
    • Partial holdings certificate, in .pdf format.
  2. Non-regulated Certificates / Reports:
    • Total holdings certificate, in .pdf format.
    • Total holdings report, in plain text format.
    • Partial holdings certificate, in .pdf format. 
  • Plain text holdings certificates (no .pdf format):

  • The regulated and non-regulated holdings certificates will be generated automatically only after the close of business, from 8:30 p.m.

  • Holdings certificates in PDF format:

    • Will be generated as requested by depositors.

    • All certificates will have a standard header.

    • The certificate number is eliminated. Afterwards, only the verification code and the certificate's generation date will be used for the verification process.

    • The balances blocked by a special pledge are identified in the new "Type of Pledge" column, under "Special Pledge rt. 14 b) DCV Law."

  • Certificates may be found as follows:

    • R115 - Non-regulated total holdings report, plain text.

    • R115A - Non-regulated total holdings certificate, PDF.

    • R115D - Non-regulated partial holdings certificate, PDF.

    • R115R - Regulated total holdings report, plain text.

    • R115B - Regulated total holdings certificate, PDF.

    • R115C - Regulated partial holdings certificate, PDF.

Annex 4
Holdings Certificate

Provides information on how to obtain it through the customized query
5 Draw Report (L043)
Currently, the holdings internal draw at DCV takes place 3 days before the payment date, and then the report is generated once the event's beneficiaries are known.
  • After the draw has taken place, report "R017 Draw Notification to Depositors" will be available in the same form and format, automatically and based on the channel selected by the depositors, after the close of business, from 9:45 p.m.
  • The DCV internal holdings draw will take place at the close of business of the day before the payment date, keeping the current definitions of custody freezing.
