In the context of the DCV Evolution (DCVe) project, the Depósito Central de Valores invites you to the third meeting of the DCV Evolution Users Committee, to be held on Friday, October 30th at 15:00 hours.
Dear depositors,
The Depósito Central de Valores (DCV) informs the end of the first cycle of the early training of the DCV Evolution project, whose purpose is to successfully face the market tests that will be carried out during the months of November and December of 2020.
On the website www.dcv.cl, in the DCV DCV evolución, menu, you can find all the videos and documents that were used in this first cycle. Similarly, as of today, the manuals of the services for the new platform are available, which can be downloaded from the “Manuals” menu on the same site.
We are grateful for the participation and commitment of the more than 300 users who joined the 9 training modules in this first cycle, and we hereby encourage them to continue participating in the second cycle, which is currently being developed.
Likewise, we want to remind you that the general training for the entire market, which have not yet started, will be promptly informed via email.
After the first meeting of this committee, held on August 13th, 2020, we already have the participation commitment of this team to carry out market tests, initially limited to this group and which will be carried out during the month of November and part of December. But without a doubt, we extend the invitation (optional) to all our depositors. In order to participate, depositors must meet the connectivity requirements, and have the support of a technical and support team to carry out the test scenarios proposed by DCV.

As part of the DCV Evolution Project (DCVe), we are pleased to inform you that we have formed the DCVe Users Committee, which brings together clients who represent different roles and market segments, also including those who use the most services and perform the most operations with DCV. Likewise, infrastructure companies will participate in this committee.
The objectives of this committee are the following:
- Form a collaborative alliance involving the following:
- Market tests.
- Early training as a requirement to support the previous point.
- Review the initial configuration stage of the participants.
- Actively participate in the go-to-production process.
- Validation of the activities to be carried out with the market.
After the first meeting of this committee, held on August 13th, 2020, we already have the commitment of this team to carry out the market tests, initially limited to this group and which will be carried out during the month of November and part of December. But without a doubt, we extend the invitation (optional) to all of our depositors. In order to participate, depositors must meet the connectivity requirements and have the support of a technical and support team to carry out the test scenarios proposed by DCV.
We would like to reiterate our interest and commitment to the entire market so that they are properly trained to face the process of putting the DCVe project into production. Therefore, we have reinforced the stages that will come:
- Training for the market that is mandatory for all depositors and that is planned from November 2020 until February 2021, in cycles that are repeated according to the strategy presented in the Webinar session held during this past June.
- Access to DCV’s training environment, so that each depositor can validate what they have learned in the training program and thus approach the new system.

In the context of the DCV Evolución project, the Depósito Central de Valores wishes to invite you to be part of a work team of excellence, which considers clients that represent the different roles and segments of the financial market.
Since your participation is key, we will summon you to four virtual sessions of the “Users Committee” during this year, in order to know detailed information about the project and receive your feedback on the work program (that is required for activities with the market and production startup). Thus, forming a collaborative alliance on key issues, such as the following:
- Early training.
- Participation in the market testing stage.
- Review of the initial configuration stage of participants.
- Scheduling of activities for production start-up
Therefore, it is essential to count on your participation, time, and commitment for this first session of the “Users Committee”, whose objective will be the market testing stage, scheduled for the last quarter of 2020.

Dear Depositors,
As was informed regarding the activities of the DCV Evolution project and, and according to what was communicated to the market in the virtual conference meeting (on June 9th and 11th, 2020), during the month of July we delivered information on upcoming activities. Hereafter, on a monthly basis we will be sending email communications, which are also registered on DCV’s website in the project menu.
Given the current scenario of the pandemic, COVID-19, which put at risk the start of production of the new platform in November of this year, the dates have been adjusted as follows.:
- The start date of the DCVe project will be at the end of March of 2021.
- The general training stage for the market will begin in October 2020 and will focus on the services that each company uses, on the critical functions, and in order that users can have an excellent user experience. The training processes will be carried out through video conferencing, with several training cycles per service, considering specific roles and with different time options so that everyone can attend. More details can be reviewed in th presentation vailable on the web or with your DCV Evolution executive. Detailed information on this stage will be communicated soon.
We have the commitment and participation of all companies and their operators to successfully carry out this great project.
