New Special Pledge Service; Now available to everyone.

Dear Participants.

Depósito Central de Valores S.A. informs that the “Special Pledge Service on Securities in Deposit”, which up to this date has only been used by the Central Bank of Chile (BCCH) and the banks that have adhered to the standards published by the BCCH, will soon be released for all Depositors during the month of October 2018.

THE SERVICE CONSIDERS, AMONG OTHERS, THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:

• Registering instructions through file interfaces.
• Enabling web interfaces which will allow customers to carry out both authorization and confirmation operations related to registering and canceling pledges.
• Issuance of electronic certificates signed with Advanced Electronic Signature (FEA).
• Online information systems allowing customers to make queries associated with this new type of service.
• Functionality for enforcing the guarantee by the creditor as stipulated in the Productivity Law.

SERVICE SUSCRIPTION:

1. Depositors must sign the Special Pledge Master Agreement, as instructed by Law 18,876 (a link is attached to access a copy).
2. Complete the Box Report Recording Form (FRIC) and send it to the MAC.
