In October 2011, the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance (SVS) issued the Circular Letter N°700 instructing all supervised entities to “learn and comply with the Resolutions N° 1988 and 1989 of the United Nations Security Council”.

In order to comply with this letter, DCV Registros has a service for the preventive control of the Shareholders and Contributors’ Registry, monthly checking of the shareholders and contributors registered in the company regarding the lists that the UN has, relative to people and entities designated as Taliban or any others related thereto. The service identifies matches between the information from the respective shareholders or contributors’ registries and the information provided by the UN.
