DCV Registros, subsidiary of DCV, made a positive balance of the Shareholders’ Meetings service, carrying out a total of 183 processes during the first semester of 2015. This figure represents a 4% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
With regard to the process of distribution and payment of dividends for the period between January and June, DCV Registros performed 297 events, showing a 10% increase in relation to the first semester of 2014.
The amount paid in dividends in 2015 totaled $2,150,713,505,638.
The Shareholders’ Meeting Administration service includes the handling of processes such as registration of attendance, tabulation, computation of quorum and if applicable, performing the voting process through the generation of paper ballots or by acclamation.
The work of the entity concludes with the submission of the report to the issuing companies in order that their legal departments may prepare the respective meeting minutes to be sent to the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance (SVS)
