Based upon the Official Circular issued by the SVS in October 2011, which requires compliance with the provisions approved by the United Nations Security Council, all supervised companies shall perform a revision of the list related to sanctions against Al-Qaida and the list of people and entities designated as Taliban and other people, groups, companies and entities related thereto.

The revision of the mentioned lists must be performed regularly by each company, and to report to the SVS.

For this purpose, DCV Registros designed a solution named Shareholders and Participants Registry Monitoring Service, which allows your company to comply with these provisions through the following activities.

1.   Perform a cross-check between the shareholders’ and principals´ and beneficiaries’ databases against the lists defined in Circular Letter 700 of October 18, 2011 of the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance, with the purpose of verifying that the issuer whose shareholders’ or contributors’ registry is administrated by DCV Registros, its shareholders, participants, beneficiaries, principals and registered users do not present matches in relation to the information submitted in the bases related to sanctions against Al-Qaida and Talibans kept and provided by the UNO.

2.    To generate marks in the Shareholders’ Registry Administration System (SARA) and, in the event of finding any match, notify the “Issuer” so that they adopt the measures they deem applicable.

3.   Update the information monthly with the closing of the Shareholders’ or Contributors’ Registry and/or each time UNO lists are updated.
