ACSDA IDB Project completes the review in Latin Clear facilities

On November 15, 16 and 17, 2017, the on-site review of the self-assessment for the Project to Strengthen the Financial Infrastructures of the Americas, in compliance with the IOSCO Principles, took place at the offices of Central Latinoamericana de Valores, S.A., carried out by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Americas' Central Securities Depositories Association - ACSDA.

The representatives of the consulting firm GCI, Monique Moura and Cecilia Humphrey, together with Alfonso Parias, Risk and Compliance Manager from Deceval, SA, Colombia, worked in conjunction with the Latin Clear team on a detailed review of compliance with the principles that apply to it.

The Latin Clear team, led by María Guadalupe Caballero, Deputy General Manager and Rosario Fernández, Compliance Manager, was also comprised of representatives from the various areas of the company such as: Operations, Risk, Audit and Technology. In addition, there was the important participation of senior representatives of the Securities Market Superintendence, Elena Martin, Intermediary Supervision Director and Maruquel Murgas de González, Sub Director of On Site Supervision.

Lerzy Batista, General Manager of Latin Clear and Olga Cantillo, Executive Vice President of the Latinex Group, were pleased with the visit and the results of the project, since it has provided learning to the team and has seen the commitment of each member to meet the deadlines and the main objective of the project.
