After the successful start-up implemented from January to March 2015, beginning in April, DCV is launching the Electronic Pledge Registry (REP) service through its National Custody business line.
This service allows the electronic instruction for the registry and redemption of pledges on securities deposited in national custody position accounts, providing a solution that allows for greater control, speed, security and efficiency in the registry and redemption thereof, and it is enabled to be used through the web interface and file interface platforms.
Among the most salient features of this service are:
Isabel Fernández, Business Project Assistant Manager, emphasizes the new functions for clients: “At DCV we seek to offer a further alternative to our clients who deliver securities in pledge so that they are carried out in a fast and timely manner. The idea is that the market makes use of this new feature with the standards of service that have always characterized our company”.
Furthermore, she values teamwork performed by the various areas of DCV aiming to implement REP: “This new service is the result of the work and effort of several areas for long years. We are very happy to finish the great challenge this project has been and which has allowed its implementation as a DCV service for its clients”.
