Dear Participants

In accordance with the provisions under the Company’s current Internal Regulation, Depósito Central de Valores S.A. (DCV) advises Participants regarding the division events relating to Enersis América S.A., Endesa S.A. and Chilectra S.A.

1)    As of April 13, 2016, the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance proceeded to register the following companies in the Securities Registry:

-Enersis Chile S.A. registered under N° 1139, with 49,092,772,762 company shares subscribed and paid.

-Endesa Américas S.A. registered under N° 1138, with 8,201,754,580 company shares subscribed and paid.

-Chilectra Américas S.A. registered under N° 1137, with 1,150,742,161 company shares subscribed and paid.

2)    As of April 14, the companies Enersis Chile S.A., Endesa Américas S.A. and Chilectra Américas S.A., agreed to perform on April 21, 2016 the distribution and material delivery of the shares issued by each one of them to the shareholders of Enersis América S.A., Endesa S.A. and Chilectra S.A. respectively that are registered in the shareholder registries of these companies as of midnight on the day before the aforementioned delivery date.

3)    Opening of April 21, 2016:

-For each Participant holding shares of the divided companies in their position accounts as indicated in point 2 above, DCV will proceed to automatically credit a share of the new company for each share they have in the previous divided company.

-The following will be the new mnemonic codes of the divided companies as well as the modifications made to the prior companies’ mnemonic codes:
