Due to the regulations issued by the authority, through the issuance of Decree No. 4 of 2020, which declared a health alert throughout the territory of the Republic to address the threat caused by the spread of Coronavirus 2019, DCV informed in the Newsletter of April 2, 2020, the measures adopted regarding modifications of encumbrances and their release for the proper operation of the businesses during the period of such emergency.
The health alert was extended for the last time until today, August 31, 2023, through Decree No. 10 of March 15, 2023, of the Ministry of Health.
As it has been informed, the government authorities did not extend the validity of the health alert. Therefore, starting September 1, 2023, the deeds and judicial resolutions by means of which encumbrances are constituted on securities deposited in DCV, as well as releases, must be issued in physical form and presented in an authorized or certified copy by the corresponding judicial officer in the case of judicial resolutions, and must be notified in person in our offices located in Apoquindo 4001, floor 12, from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.to review the information received on the same day.
Moreover, DCV will continue operating as normal with an electronic notification of encumbrances and releases through instructions in the DCV platform for the following:
- Pledges electronic record (REP)
- Special pledge of article 14 b) of Law 18876.
