DCV Registros Eliminates the "Check by Certified Mail" Payment Modality for the Dividend Payment Service

Dear issuers:

With the ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality of service and security to Corporations, DCV Registros informs you that starting January 1, 2024, the dividend payment processes managed by DCV Registros will no longer include the "Check by Certified Mail" payment modality. That modality will be replaced with the following options: "Virtual sight draft collection at any of the offices of Banco BCI" or "Document collection at the office of DCV Registros" for those issuers that do not make payments through BCI.

The reason for removing this modality is to provide a more secure high-quality service, since up to date, there is a large number of complaints regarding lost and unreceived checks and others.
