Citibank N.A., a New Cross-Border Custody Provider

Dear Participants,

Depósito Central de Valores is pleased to announce that after several months of working together, Citibank N.A. has joined the company as a new cross-border custody provider strengthening the DCV Cross-Border Custody Service's infrastructure.

During the first phase, only the United States (USA) market will be considered, allowing DCV as a global custodian to provide its depositors with a more competitive alternative to access this market, complementing the currently available services through Euroclear.

With this addition to the DCV cross-border custody service, clients will be able to open individualized accounts, access FED settlement services, clear trades (intermediation), access Tax services (Qualified Intermediary), and invest in American funds quotas, among others.

In addition to the above, we will obtain operational benefits through more efficient flows due to the later implementation of Swift messaging that will make processes manual tasks-free (STP).

We are working together to start the holdings migration process kept in DTC to the new accounts in Citibank N.A.
