The public offer of foreign securities in Chile in the local stock exchanges known as “Foreign Exchange Market”, offers Participants the opportunity to acquire, settle and custody foreign securities through DCV, using the entire local infrastructure for this purpose. The instruments available are those registered with the respective Foreign Securities Registry of the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance (SVS). With regard to the registrations made between January and July 2013, the transactions have increased in 200%, which reflects the interest of Chilean investors in diversifying their investments in these instruments.

Furthermore, as part of its plan to attract new depositors, DCV has approached nearly 70 companies such as family offices, clearing houses, mutual funds, factoring companies, IPSA companies, among others, achieving a very good reception and interest in getting to know DCV and its services.
