Since the beginning of 2014, DCV Registros has adapted its systems, allowing the new identification cards to be validated through the QR code.
Given the new identification card developed by the Civil Registry, DCV Registros was faced the need to be able to validate clients according to the security standards established in the company.
This process consisted of adapting the biometric system in order to include the QR code in the validation, in addition to the fingerprint that is already assigned a 300-point security standard to prevent impersonation.
This technology is already 100% operational in the 9 face-to-face customer service points in the offices located in Huérfanos 770, floor 22, Santiago Centro. Did you know…? The Ministry of Justice has decided to extend the expiration date for Chilean Identification Cards until March 31, 2014.
This way, those people holding expired ID cards or whose cards expire in the date referred to, may use it to carry out tasks, formalities or any activities requiring their presentation. The latter applies only to those cards issued as of January 1, 2003.
