Dear Participants

As on other occasions, let us remind you that in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Depository Contract and Internal Regulation of the Depósito Central de Valores S.A., Securities Depository (DCV), it is the responsibility of each Participant to:

1. Maintain an updated list of their representatives and registered signatures, as well as the list of authorized officials to perform withdrawals of documents or securities from DCV’s facilities. If you are interested to know the representatives and officials that your entity maintains registered to date, please contact our Customer Help Desk at the telephone +(56 2) 2393 9001 and make the respective updates.

2. Designate a Security Administrator for the Computer System to whom DCV grants access to the transactions enabled for the registration of computer equipment (IP addresses through which the connection to the Computer System will be made) and the Users Registry and users’ enablement as Operators (create and eliminate users, grant or override access authority to transactions, determine the duration of secret passwords, change secret passwords and define the computer equipment through which the respective users may connect).

3. Moreover, Participants who have subscribed the Forward Contracts Centralized Registry service shall maintain an updated list of representatives with authority to subscribe contracts electronically by means of advanced digital signature, as well as their respective digital certificates.

In light of the preceding, we suggest reviewing the User-Operator designations and the profiles that your Security Administrator has assigned to each of them to date to operate with DCV.

As you know, Depósito Central de Valores S.A. (DCV) reported in Circular Letter N° 286 of November 19, 2016 regarding the implementation of the new electronic platform of the Open Market Operations System of Banco Central de Chile (BCCh) and of other adjustments that were made to the Repurchase Service with Agreements which would take place between Banco Central de Chile and the DCV Depositors.

Since that date, the Repurchase operations with Agreements are made through Swift ISO 15022 messaging and the relevant norms of the Monetary and Financial Compendium of BCCH (Central Bank Of Chile) are applied.

In this circular letter, DCV publishes the Service Description Manual, which provides a detailed overview of the characteristics, benefits and business flows of Repurchases with Agreements.

Dear Participants

Through Circular Letter N° 282 of September 30, 2015, Depósito Central de Valores S.A. (DCV) advised of the beginning of the implementation project of the new technological platform of the SOMA system, of the Central Bank of Chile (BCCH) and of the adaptations that DCV performed on the Trading Service with Agreements made between the Central Bank of Chile and DCV Participants.

After the successful completion of the beginning period on November 18, 2015, through Circular Letter 3013-765 BCCH advised that the live output date and beginning of operations and implementation of the new electronic platform service of the Open Market Operations System will be November 20 of this year.

In this way, as of this date the aforementioned Trading-with-Agreement operations will be performed under Swift ISO 15022 messaging and the rules relative to the Bank’s Compendium of Monetary and Financial Rules will be applied, modified by Council Agreement N°1929-02 published in the Official Gazette on September 24, 2015, and supplementary by the provisions under Chapter 10.4 of DCV’s Internal Regulation.

Dear Participants

With regard to the payment to be performed as of this date by Caja de Compensación de Asignación Familiar La Araucana in relation to the Series A and Series D Bonds issued to be debited to the lines registered with the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance under numbers 645/2010 and 773/2013 respectively, we inform you that in the case of dematerialized issues and in the event of default in payment by the Issuer, our Internal Regulation provides:

Number 14.6.1: In the event of failure to pay a capital event by the Issuer, Participants shall report this default in payment to DCV within 5 working days from the maturity. In light of this notice, DCV will provide Participants with a certificate issued as provided under Article 14 bis of the Law 18.876.

According to the mentioned Article 14 bis of the Law 18.876, the certificate issued by DCV will be enforceable against the Issuer and other parties obligated regarding this payment.

In the event that your entity wishes to request the aforementioned certificate, this may be generated directly through DCV’s web application in electronic or physical form.
