Dear Participants,
The Depósito Central de Valores S.A. (DCV) informs that the Special Pledge Service on Securities on Deposit Registered in the Book Entry System, hereinafter “Special Pledge” is available for its use for all Depositors.
During 2017, among other communications, DCV published Circulars No. 310 and 311, dated November 8th and 22nd, 2017 respectively, informing of the start-up of the first stage of the Special Pledge service, which considered operations carried out between the Central Bank of Chile with Bank Depositors, having registered to date more than 3,000 pledge instructions. During the last month of 2018, the trial and training of customers process was carried out relevant to Phase 2.
Given the preceding, the Special Pledge service is available for all Depositors.
To subscribe to this service:
- Depositors must sign the Special Pledge Master Agreement, as instructed by Law 18,876. The text and format are registered under No. 944, dated October 16th, 2017, in the Notary Office of Santiago of Mr. Juan Ricardo San Martin Urrejola under repertory No. 55980/2017 (a link is attached to access a copy of it).
- Complete the Box Report Recording Form (FRIC)and send it to the MAC.
